Hi, I’m Heidi — the hands and heart behind Verity.

My path to Verity wasn’t planned, but it was purposeful — shaped by seasons of struggle, healing, and quiet discovery. For years, I walked through chronic health challenges that forced me to slow down and look more closely at the way we live, eat, and care for our bodies. What began as a personal search for healing led me back to something simple and profound: what we put on and in our bodies truly matters.

As I began reading labels and researching ingredients, I was stunned by how far modern products have drifted from what is natural, honest, and nourishing. The disconnect felt wrong. And one day, I knew — I couldn’t ignore it anymore.

So I started creating my own skincare.

Working with my hands, using real ingredients, and returning to time-honored traditions felt deeply grounding. It was simple. It was beautiful. It felt right. I was reminded that we are still capable of creating pure, meaningful things — and that the most powerful solutions are often the ones we’ve forgotten.

What began as an act of self-care quickly grew into something more. My family and friends started using what I made and fell in love with it. As a stay-at-home mom of four, I had been praying for a way to support my family while staying true to my values. Slowly, organically, Verity was born — a business rooted in faith, family, and a deep respect for God-made ingredients.

Today, I create skincare with one purpose: to honor simplicity and restore trust in what we use every day. I love educating others about traditional ingredients like tallow — nature’s original moisturizer and a true superfood for the skin — and watching people rediscover how nourishing skincare can be when it’s made with intention.

I’m continually humbled by the number of people who are waking up to the same truth I did: that natural isn’t a trend — it’s a return.

But Verity is not just about today. I am always exploring and creating new products, with a vision to replace the everyday items we reach for at the store — toothpaste, deodorant, hair care, and even general cleaning products. My hope is to help thousands of people create toxic-free homes and live cleaner, healthier lives — without it being hard or drastic. It’s about self-awareness, better choices, and offering products that allow us to live freely in the way we are used to, without the poisons that have become so common in our world. My goal is not only to provide safe, non-toxic alternatives but to offer better products, because God’s design is always best.
